Les
motos Laverda sont un peu comme des chefs-d'oeuvres inachevés. Leur puissant
statut de superbike a du composer avec les moyens limités de la compagnie:
Le mythe est resté mais l'énorme potentiel de la marque n'a sans
doute jamais pu être exploité pleinement, y compris jusqu'à
aujourd'hui puisqu'on attend toujours que les
repreneurs de la marque puissent
faire renaître la légende.
The Laverda motorbikes
are just like unachieved masterpieces. Their strong statute of ultimate superbike
had to cope with the limited resources of the company: The legend
stays but
the huge potential of the brand was undoubtely never really exploited, also nowadays
as we are still waiting that the new owners of the name could build a
new
legend.
Il
y a donc un vide à combler, ne serait-ce que pour entretenir le mythe et,
pourquoi pas, susciter un réel intérêt chez un mécène
ou un industriel passionné.
There is then a gap
to fill, at least to maintain the legend, and why not to cause a real interest
through industrials

projet Laverdamania, baptisé LV00, s'inscrit dans cette logique. Radicalement
différent de la plupart des réalisations actuelles en matière
de motos néo-classiques, il s'agit surtout d'une étude de style
qui tente de créer une alchimie entre une moto résolument avant-gardiste
et un style rassemblant dans son design et dans sa technologie les éléments
les plus symboliques
des Laverda historiques. The Laverdamania Project, called LV00, is in keeping with this logical. Radically different of the current neo-classic models, this is above all a design research which creates an alchemy between an avant-garde motorcycle and a style joining design and technology of the most symbolic aspects through the historic Laverda motorbikes. |  |
Idéalement, la motorisation est totalement nouvelle (multisoupapes, injection
électronique) tout en conservant idéalement un aspect extérieur
et certaines options techniques
proches du moteur 3 cylindres originel calé
à 180°. A défaut, une motorisation Benelli peut également
être adoptée avec peu de modifications sur le chassis.
Ideally,
the engine is totally new (multivalves, fuel injected) while keeping an external
aspect and some technical options close to the original 3 cylinders engine timed
to
180 degrees. However, a modern Benelli triple engine (close to the 3 cylinder
project conceived at Zane in the 90') can be adapted without many mods to the
frame.

avoir fixé le concept et établi le cahier des charges dès
2005, puis couché sur le papier les options stylistiques et techniques,
les bases de la géométrie du châssis et les exigences dans
l'optique d'une éventuelle mise en production, les premières esquisses
puis dessins ont été réalisés dès 2006. The concept basis, specification list, main choices in terms of design and technology, most of the chassis geometry were made in 2005, then the first drawings came in 2006. |
Ces
études sont ensuite été régulièrement soumises
à un infographiste/designer professionnel pour la réalisation des
images 3D et les retouches du design.
These studies are
then regularly sent to a professional designer to elaborate the 3D images and
design corrections.
Il
y a encore beaucoup de travail à fournir, mais LV00 est d'ores et déjà
à la disposition de partenaires intéressés par son concept.
There
is still a huge work to do, however LV00 is already at the disposal of industrial
partners who can be interested in this project.
